TravPal is a pocket travel companion for visitors to Ireland. It aims to put visitors in touch with the best local content, with local people themselves, and with other travelers.

We all love to travel, and when we do we want an authentic travel experience based on real connections with other people and the places we visit, while supporting local communities. Now you can do so while having a completely personalised experience.

TravPal connects travelers with each other, with small or independent and family-owned tourism providers, and with local people themselves — who we call Local Heroes – all based on your interests and location and in real time, when traveling with your mobile device.

We also help you to save money while in a destination through exclusive deals and discounts. TravPal will help you find local events, special offers on great adventures and even locate free wi-fi spots. And with your own personal trip journal you can record and share your journey with the TravPal community.

This first version of TravPal is for visitors to Ireland, particularly the West of Ireland, but were working on developing our network to include other destinations in the future.
